Astrological
Analysis |
There
are various methods of astrological analysis. These methods are based upon the
analysis of planetory motion and their position at any given point of time. For
reference and mapping to a common standard of analysis, some charts are prepared
with the following inputs: |
| 1.
Date of Birth |
2.
Time of Birth |
| 3.
Place of Birth |
| The
position of planets are determined mathematically with respect to earth, based
upon the date and time of birth at a given longitude and latitude (place of birth). |
| Then
these data are put in various stanard formats, which are collectively known as
HOROSCOPE. |
Horoscope |
All
the charts in a horoscope has 12 houses and planets are positioned in different
houses based upon the calculation done to determine their position in the sky
with respect to the date, time and place of birth. |
|
The first house of the horoscope gives the lagna i.e Ascendant Zodiac sign. Starting
with Lagna, rest of the zodiacs are placed sequentially. |
The
zodiacs are replaced with numbers i.e Aries=1 to Pisces =12 |
| e.g
If one's ascendant is Taurus(No. 2), the zodiac sign in the forst house will be
2 and then sequentially 3 to 12 and then 1. This is explained in the following
diagram. |
